Abingdon Presbytery
Abingdon Presbytery includes 48 congregations, 39 Teaching Elders (14 of whom are Honorably Retired), and 9 Commissioned Ruling Elders, working together in thirteen counties in southwestern Virginia.
Our mission is to support churches and their leaders; providing up-to-date information and material on mission opportunities, evangelism, peacemaking, hunger issues, leadership development, and other means to enhance our relationship with God, to strengthen the local churches for more effective witness, to share the ministry of the greater Church in the world, as we serve our Lord together.
